The wait is almost over! Walt Disney World Resort has officially confirmed that four major new attractions and experiences will make their grand debut on May 26, 2026.
Marking the centerpiece of the resort's Cool KIDS' SUMMER celebration, the simultaneous opening of all these experiences across three different theme parks signals one of the biggest single-day launches in Orlando’s recent history.
From the arrival of global sensation Bluey to a patriotic reimagining of a fan-favorite flight simulator, here is what guests can expect on May 26.
The Big Four Launching May 26
- Bluey’s Wild World (Disney’s Animal Kingdom): For the first time ever, Bluey and Bingo are taking over the Conservation Station. Families can board the Wildlife Express Train to "Jumping Junction" to meet the duo, play games inspired by the hit show, and discover animals native to Australia.
- Soarin’ Across America (EPCOT): In honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary, EPCOT’s signature flying theater ride is being reimagined. Guests will soar over the Grand Canyon and iconic American cityscapes, accompanied by a brand-new orchestration of the classic Soarin’ score.
- Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! (Disney’s Hollywood Studios): A high-energy, interactive stage show featuring Mickey, Minnie, and their Clubhouse pals. Designed for the youngest travelers, the show includes original songs and plenty of dancing.
- The Walt Disney Studios Courtyard (Disney’s Hollywood Studios): This refreshed outdoor space officially opens to the public, offering a family-friendly area to explore the cinematic legacy of the park.
More Summer Magic: Mandalorian, Muppets, and Reopenings
While May 26 is the headline date, the Cool KIDS' SUMMER season is packed with even more updates throughout the year:
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin (April 8): Reopening in Tomorrowland with a "recharged" experience, featuring new interactive targets, blasters, and a training bot named Buddy.
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Early May): The 'Wildest Ride in the Wilderness' returns from a full-park refurbishment with a fresh "shine and polish."
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (May 22): Just days before the main launch, a brand-new mission featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. For the first time, guests can choose their destination and communicate directly with Grogu.
- Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets (Summer): The high-speed coaster gets a Muppet-themed makeover, fueled by the music of The Electric Mayhem.
- The Magic of Disney Animation (Late Summer): A reimagined space featuring the 'Drawn to Wonderland' playground and an 'Olaf Draws' animation class.
